You will get a “taste” of biology, astronomy, chemistry, earth science and physics, the five topics in a General Science course. You will explore how science relates to your everyday lives. There is no formal laboratory session but you will participate in hands-on science exploration. For 1 diploma credit.

This course covers collision-avoidance techniques and safety tips to help you become a better driver. These techniques will be discussed through lectures, videos, and classroom participation. Those completing the course will receive a three-point credit on their license record. Senior (over age 65) fee discount of 75%.

Maine Guide Preparation is designed to prepare you for the state exam to acquire your Recreational Maine Guide License. Created and instructed by a Maine Guide. Systematically compiled learning materials necessary to prepare for the state examination. Classroom instruction combined with field exercises. Course focus is on the Specialized Recreational License however we will provide some information to help send you in the right direction if you wish to add multiple specialized licences like hunting or fishing. We will guide you through the entire process and stay in contact with you all the way to your exam. Students should bring a laptop, tablet, or Smart phone.
