Drawing for Beginners

Get to know what your pencil can do! Learn to use your visual mode and create drawings that will communicate your ideas and experiences. Learn to draw 3 D shapes, perspective, lighthouses, birdhouses, birds, and animals. Students need to bring #2 pencils, gum erasers, stomps (for smudging), drawing paper, and 12” ruler. This course may also be eligible for 1/2 Diploma credit.

The Online Course requires that students complete the knowledge portion of the course online and attend a skills and exam day which is about 7 hours. Students complete quizzes and exam as they do the online course and are provided with a voucher to attend the skills and exam day upon completion of the online exam. In the skills and exam session students must demonstrate to the instructor that they can safely handle a firearm, participate in activities, bring in a survival kit with appropriate contents and pass a 50 question test with a grade of at least 70%. Students MUSTcomplete the online course andprovide voucher number to register for the Skills and Exam Day. Students MUST also bring the voucher to the first class.
